Attendance Policy

Coming to school regularly is an integral part of a student's life. This inculcates discipline and regularity in a student.

Students will not be allowed to enter the class without an absence note by parents in Almanac if he/she has been absent on the previous day.

Leave of Absence:

1.    Parents should submit an application through the Almanac well in advance and are strongly advised to apply for leave of absence before they confirm their holiday arrangements. Under no circumstances absences for family holidays in term time will be authorized after they have happened.

2.    Students who have been sick for 3 or more days will bring a medical fitness certificate from a registered/qualified medical practitioner (at-least MBBS) doctor on re-joining the school.

3.    All students will attend school on the reopening day after each of the vacations. Those absent on account of any illness must present a medical certificate before they are admitted to the class. It is compulsory for all students to maintain regular attendance during the course of the Academic Session, 75% attendance is mandatory to enable them to appear for Every Assessment. A certificate of merit will be given to students with 100% attendance.

4.    If a child is absent from school without prior information for 3 days continuously then his/her name will be struck off from the attendance register.

5.    No leave will be entertained during examinations, except in a medical emergency.

6.    Other than a medical emergency, half-day leave will not be allowed in any circumstances.

7.    A day's attendance is counted only if the student attends all the classes conducted during the day.
